My oldest daughter has never really liked food. She eats it when she has to, but doesn’t really revel in it. My youngest, however, loves to eat, especially sweets. As she’s grown I’ve taken countless shots of her experiencing food. I have a virtual road map of her discovery of favorite treats and things she never, ever wants to eat again. It’s not a traditional way to track a child’s development, but it’s definitely one worth tracking. If only for the smiles it’ll bring to your faces later on.
The discovery of tart.
Stolen food tastes sweetest.
First we experience our food with our fingers…
… it tastes better that way.
Even something as small as a strawberry deserves intense focus.
And even the tiniest morsel shouldn’t be missed!
We think of photo albums as a traditional way of tracking our children’s growth. It’s fun to re-imagine that tradition into something unique and memorable.
